Yes, I take oil of oregano every day. And garlic.

I take policosanol for cholesterol.

Lots of prescriptions I avoid because I choose to look elsewhere.

Actually it can cause diarrhea if you take too much of it.

I use during the winter if I feel at all like a bug is trying to come on. I

haven't been sick at all since I have been using oil of oregano.

Kenda, I had my ears done at a Holistic Heath Fair, and the fellow

who did it, waw opening up the candles and showing people what was in

them. One guy even had a big, dead bug in his left ear! Not everyone

had the white powder in theirs -- he asked me if I had taken lots of

antibiotics throughout my life, so he seemed to know. I don't know

alot about it, except it felt really awesome. A very gentle

procedure, compared to having your ears flushed out with water. That

hurts!

Take care,

Love, Sunny :)

I have had mine done by an acupuncturist and I have done them to my family.

I'm not sure I believe that all you find in the candle came from one's ear.

It does feel pretty good though.

I take 3 capsules a day, and have no side effects. That and garlic

are my favorites! Lately, I can't seem to get enough garlic or onions!

It's a good thing I'm Ukrainian, eh??

Lynda, what is policosanol? I've never heard of it. I have had sky

high cholesterol during the last few years. I read an article about

scientists injecting rats with silicone and their cholesterol went

through the roof....Hmmmmm...interesting, eh?

Kenda, he mentioned that everything comes out of the ear canals, not

just the outer ear. I'm going to do more research. Now you've got

me thinking.

Why do you take it daily? My ND only wants me to take it when I feel like

I'm coming down with something. Even then, he wants me to alternate between

different supplements so they don't lose their effectiveness from overuse.

Hi Sunny,

I'd love to know what you find out. It may work very well but it seemed

kind of suspicious to me.

Policosanol is a natural product made from the waxy part of the sugar

cane plant. It has been shown to lower cholesterol as well as

statins without the liver damage. Research it, I did. A 12 year

study in Australia found no side effects at all and especially no

liver problems like the statins. My cholesterol went through the

roof with a ruptured implant.

I guess everyone learns a little differently about natural healing.

I was told it is good to take as a " daily food " because it kills

viruses that enter the body, which happens everyday, apparently. And

bad bacteria, which is in our foods, air, etc. Also, seems to keep

the joints healthy & there's alot more it does. I'll find out more

and post that, as well.

Love,

Sunny :) p.s. some supplements work great to prevent, when just

getting sick, and others attack & kill enemies as they enter.

Lynda, WOW! That's awesome. Thanks for the validation about the

ruptured implant & cholesterol -- I KNEW it! I'm going to look for

that product. Where do you buy yours?

Again, I've not done this myself... but I'm pretty sure you lay down, one end of the candle is placed into your ear, the lit end over a pan. The candle is sort of shaped like a funnel inside (per my friends), and it sends smoke up into the ear that melts the wax -which flows out into the pan. It sounds less painful than having doctors go at it with dissolvents and a syringe! (That hurts!)

I found it very relaxing....it sounded like a little fireplace

burning in the distance. The suction is very gentle....you can't

feel it pulling or anything. I'm going to buy some as soon as I can

afford them, and clean out my family's ears. We were joking about

selective hearing...so after that, we can't claim " I can't HEAR

you...or I can hear you, but I'm not listening! lol

Love,

Sunny :) p.s. A spider! Although I love spiders, I would not want

one living in my ear! lol

your side with a lit candle sticking out of your ear! Here's a
