Guest guest
Oh, Angie, that sounds awful. I have had trouble with my complexion since this started -- not acne, but dry " bumpy " skin that is not like I used to have. I have always had a lot of sores in my mouth, and now I take methotrexate which makes them worse. I tell you, though, I am of the opinion that just about any symptom could potentially be related to your thyroid!!! I would never have thought that until I experienced it, and my rheumatologist still blames a lot of my aches and pains and such on arthritis instead of Hashi's, but I tell you, I have had arthritis my whole life, and I dealt with it pretty well until the Hashi's. When my thyroid is under better control, I feel better in every single way!! I have had medical problems my whole life, it seems, and my son, , who is 17, also has rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune problems. I can't remember if you said how old Jordan is, but I can certainly empathize with you having a sick child. I am much more interested in my own health than I would be if I didn't have . As it is, since I know I am responsible for most of his health problems by passing them on to him, I am interested in finding out as much as I can about my own conditions, too. Please let me know how old Jordan is, and I certainly hope that you both find answers and start feeling a lot better soon!! Jo > Hi again, > > Is it just me, have I missed postings about this? Guest guest
Certain types of tumors of the ovaries produce their own hormones that produce severe acne and some of the other symptoms you're describing. Why would they tell you that the ovary was " ok " , if it was swollen that large? Fibroid tumors are in the uterus and denote lack of progesterone usually. Hysterectomy?!? > Hi again, > > Is it just me, have I missed postings about this? Guest guest
It's not your fault. How do we know what is going to happen to us, when we start out our lives? The genes are a powerful thing. It's so hard to know what's what. Re: Hysterectomy?!? > Oh, Angie, that sounds awful.
