Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I have a beautiful daughter, , who has an autism dx. We have been GF/CF for 2 years. I feel she needs something more. We are in ABA, dev.delay preschool, OT, ST, and she sees many specialists. I read BTVC, but I could only get ahold of an older version. My first questions to you are: Can they drink almond milk? Is there an " acceptable " list of brand name products like on GFCF diet? Any help would be very appreciated. I guess my mind is just too full of new, confusing information for the book to have made any real sense. Thank you in advance, Toni Rollan mom to 4 and

Tropicana orange juice (not frozen). The fruit blends are not legal. Heinz tomato juice Welch grape juice from concentrate Dole pineapple There is a company that sells SCD foods called http://www.digestivewellness.com They also sell things that are not on their website,so you can call them up. and ask about the things that are not on the website, Many parents are reluctant to do the diet because they fear that the diet will be a lot of work But once kids are on the diet, the parent's lives become so much easier. Why? The children make such a great improvement that the parents will need to spend less time on teaching and diciplining their child .. >Can they drink almond milk? Guest guest
Thank you for the reply! I feel so alone doing this diet. We've been GFCF for 2 years with plenty of support, but this diet is new for me. I'm so grateful for this list! Does anyone know if guar gum is allowed? I fould no mention of it in BTVC. I'd like to give some coconut milk, but it has some guar gum in it and I don't want to mess up! Our first day on the diet is tomorrow. I'm so excited! Looking forward to getting to know all of you! -Toni -- Re: have no ides what I'm doing...HELP! > Hi Toni, Welcome to our group! >Is there > an " acceptable " list of brand name products like on GFCF diet? Guest guest
Mimi, On the subject of Coconut milk. I was just in Trader Joes and they sell a light coconut milk that states there are no gums or thickners added. Wouldn't you think their brand would be legal? Sheryl Re: have no ides what I'm doing...HELP! > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Sheryl, That's a real find. Can you tell us the brand? IThe Thai Kitchen coconut milk used to be pure but they've changed it and now add gums to it. If you've found a pure coconut milk, that opens a lot of options. Best, Ann Re: have no ides what I'm doing...HELP! > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Sure, It's Trader Joe's Brand. The label says, " Light Coconut Milk. 60% less fat than regular coconut milk. No thickening agents, such as tapioca, have been added to Trader Joe's light coconut milk. " What do you all think? Sheryl Re: have no ides what I'm doing...HELP! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
It would be a good idea to write to the company and get written verification. There is a lot of hidden ingredients in foods.
