Guest guest
Coffee was the worst thing you could have had. It was good you got retested though. Let the DR know that is was at noon with coffee when they get the results. Never worry about making them fix their error. You are the client. Thanks for being such a caring group! They retested me today at no charge. The nurse was none too happy. The only thing she said to me is "you know you will have to repeat the stem test too, don't you". She handed me my labwork paper I thanked her and went to the lab. Although i don't think she is entirely to blame but she did play a big part in not catching it when she was reading me the results. I guess she is upset b/c she told me she was 100% sure these were my labs but she still could not explain how the mix-up occurred. I am going to do my best not to let this bother me, even though it does a bit. Well, at least I'll have my correct labs now even if I go back to my family doc for a while. He may not know a lot about thyroid treatments but he usually always lets me try new medications upon request. I think that is a big plus to be able to play around with things to find the best treatment. I'm thinking more and more about armor. Anyone else in the NC/SC area that has a great endo? To those of you that commented about whether I should be fasting or not>> I did go in fasting and got them done around 12. Although the doc's office didn't say one way or the other. I did have 1 cup of coffee around 8am. Don't know whether that will make a difference. -Dana ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
