YUMMMMMMY!! Gotta try these!

I am not big on getting others to try desserts because so many of us

can't stop once we start. BUT, yesterday, mom and I went to this place

in Upland, CA., called The Thinnery. Nothing but Sugar Free desserts.

Well, as you know, s/f doesn't always mean low carb. But the owner told

me about these cream cheese rolls that he sells which are the perfect

dessert for Atkins Dieters. So, I bought a few. Yes, of course, they

are pricey, I think they were $7.99 per roll. However, I have to tell

you, these things are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I bought pumpkin, strawberry

and chocolate supreme. Just now, I had my first taste, so I picked the

pumpkin roll. OMG! Are they good!!!!

Basically, they are a layer of cake topped with cream cheese and rolled

into a log. They weigh 1 pound a piece, they're approx. 3 inches in

diameter (a perfect size) and when cut into a one inch slice, they have

4 grams total carbs, with 2 grams dietary fiber. There are 6, 1-inch

slice servings per roll, with 5.5 grams of protein per serving as well.

The cake is made with: soy flour, oat flour, soy protein, egg whites,

cinnamon, natural apple, lemon, chocolate, splenda, vanilla, spices,

soda, an salt (amongst other things, like some phyto-nutrient blend and

amino acid blends).

I'm telling you, these are great! I'm so excited! Of course, I will be

careful and see how they affect my weight loss.
