Guest guest
, Our daughter is 18 now. She weights 115lbs and is 5' 2 " . At age two she weighed 24 lbs. As the saying goes, " Been there, done that. " At age 10 they ran test after test and found nothing more than a slow digestive system . They suggested mineral oil. Constipation was a small problem before. It helped and she still uses it as needed. The dietitian (at age 10) suggested we let her eat ANYTHING she wanted. ( I had done the mom thing and tried to get her to eat good food before junk.) Amazingly she ate pudding, cakes, pasta, icecream, mac and cheese once in a while and even on junk food she did gain weight. It goes against the mom in me to let her do junk food only but it worked. She was a very very picky eater. As she got older and went to other homes etc. she discovered she had to eat a variety of foods to be socially acceptable. She ate more of a variety and now is just the right size. She still is a picky eater but had widend the things she eats. She eats lots of chicken but never red meat. Hope that helps a little. Blessings and Hugs. Lynn Ohio
