Guest guest
When I saw my original doc, she did blood and urine ... said no sign of any renal problems ... retest in a year ... then I fired her and saw another doc and she ordered a 24-hour urine. Now I'm firing her and seeing a diabetologist, who I actually got to phone interview before deciding to change physicians again. What do y'all think of the 24 hour urine? If there was no problem with the original test, is there any purpose to doing it? I'm inclined to just disregard it unless the new doc wants it too - but was wondering what urine tests y'all have done and at what point. I don't remember what the first urine test was called, but the doc was confident it was fine. Judith type II at age 35 and plugging along, dang it. They generally look for protein leakage, creatinine and albumin. There is a blood test called microalbumin. Susie
