Guest guest
Today Jaxson was seen by the ortho and he was hinting that it may only be another month or so for Jax to be in his helmet. YIPPEE (big news to me). He showed us Jax's original molding of his head and OH MY GOSH it's amazing! In the past few weeks his head has rounded out so much! His helmet is adjusted as much as it possibly can go, so hopefully it's all he'll need (or he said he would need another), but he made it seem in a month, two tops, we'd be done. PT and OT are still twice a week though - he has really low muscle tone in his lower back and tummy - and once we finally know what's going on with his hips, they'll help there as well. And, on a another note, about his helmet - I brought him in for pictures this weekend and was given the proofs (he was wearing a shirt covered in motorcycles, his helmet had West Coast Chopper stickers on it) and he had a Harley son bear with him. I brought them in to show the ortho and the Pt/Ot and they want me to bring in all the different pictures of his helmets (I take pictures of all the designs I do, which I change every 2, 3 days) and they want copies to show other parents on ideas on how to decorate. They also want to take one of the motorcyle designs and put it in their newsletter. Hope everyone is well... Guest guest
Kim, Yeah Jaxson. I want to see some of those pics too. They sound very cool. I'm going to update the decorating tips section with a chart that shows most common bands and how they can be decorated. I think a few of them can not be painted because they were adjusted by heat. Can the cranio cap be painted? Thanks, mom to na South Carolina a rounder noggin, maybe almost done?
