Guest guest
and Cory, Thanks for the additional tips. The stretches while she is seated are going better than the lying down versions. She is an only child so no kids to distract there. I do use my dh when he is around and mil uses her cats. I'll have to let her know about the sitting up versions. We are doing more active stretches with the band on, i.e. I'm really keeping things to her right side to make her look that direction. She really is becoming adverse to people putting any pressure on her head. However, the band isn't bothering her once it's on. She doesn't like it going on and off. She turns her head side to side and moves up and down. Of course this makes it take longer and more difficult. LOL If she would only sit still. Thanks, mom to wiggly na For the last few months, I have done all of Aidan's stretches with him sitting up, and so does his therapist. It is the ONLY way that I can do them. I also try to sneak one in while he is in the tub, but that is difficult now that he is out of his baby bath seat! As for the mirror, I use the bathroom mirror, but if you had one you could sit in front of, it would probably be easier. I typically am most successful with the mirror for his head righting exercises and range of motion stretches, than I am the ear to shoulder stretches. I also found that if someone else can distract Aidan (my dh for example, or grandma!) the stretches are a heck of a lot easier. I have heard that an older sibling is ideal for making faces, singing silly songs, etc, but doesn't work for me cuz Aidan is my only baby! Best of luck and keep fighting! > > Hi All, > > na had an adjustment today. She did grow a little. In all > she has grown 1 cm since she got this band.
