Guest guest Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Hi all, my cataract surgery is at 7:30 AM tomorrow morning and would you please pray that it all goes well? I'm a little nervous more than usual for two reasons. 1. They were going to do it outpatient at an outpatient clinic. Now they've decided that due to all of my meds I'm on, and all of my medical conditions (esp. the MS and Sleep Apnea) that they want me to have it done " in house " at the hospital. And I have to have someone stay with me for 24 hours after the surgery. 2. As most of you know, I have insomnia very bad. On a good night I get to sleep at 2-3 am. On a bad night 5-6am. Either way, once I get to sleep, my body kind of crashes and I need at least 4-6 hours of sleep or it can throw me into an MS relapse which can keep me in bed for days, sometimes weeks on end. Well, I can't get hold of anyone and I need to know what medications I can take to get some sleep earlier tonight. If not, the surgery may have to be called off once again and rescheduled. Either way, please pray that all goes well in surgery and that my eye will be well and able to see perfectly again and that I respond well to the surgery and medicine they have to use for the anesthesia. Thank you so much. `Lady ` Please Let's Try To Be Nice, The World Is Mean Enough Just Because The Balloons Are Gone Doesn't Mean The Party Is Over victoriab7@... Quote
Guest guest Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Hi , Sorry to be responding too late for your good night sleep. I am sure you must of tried many things by now anyway. I will keep you in my prayers for tommorrow and that the outcome is better then expected. victoria wrote: >Hi all, >my cataract surgery is at 7:30 AM tomorrow morning and would you please pray that it all goes well? >I'm a little nervous more than usual for two reasons. > > > Quote
