It's a precaution I would take too. mom to na Re: Pedi has never heard of a helmet/band! Should we do the the CAT Scan? Hi Becky and welcome to the group! This is my personal opinion, but I think you should have the CT scan first in order to rule out any possibility of Cranio. How long did they say it would take to get that done? In the meantime, you could be researching the helmet, finding out if your ins. will cover it etc... Just a suggestion. Your baby is at a great age of banding by the way. If you had to wait a month for the helmet, he'd still be ahead of most.> I'm going to write this kinda quick b/c I need to call and confirm or > cancel the Cat Scan that is scheduled for Monday morning. Guest guest
Becky, I agree with , I too would have the CT scan done. It can't hurt. While you're waiting for the results you can pursue a helmet or band. Keep us posted. --- In Plagiocephaly , " becky_zayne " <questa98@b...> wrote: > I'm going to write this kinda quick b/c I need to call and confirm or > cancel the Cat Scan that is scheduled for Monday morning. Guest guest
Becky, I am sorry that you are going through this with your ped. A CT scan will not hurt anything, so I would go ahead and have it done. Have you checked into the closest facility for banding Zayne? I have no knowledge of LA and where andria is compared to anything else. Sorry I could not be of more help! --- In Plagiocephaly , " becky_zayne " <questa98@b...> wrote: > I'm going to write this kinda quick b/c I need to call and confirm or > cancel the Cat Scan that is scheduled for Monday morning.
