Guest guest
Did you go to the hospital? Call the doc???? It could be mini strokes. We can't blame everything that happens to us on MS. It seems like I remember you telling me that when you were here in October. Didn't you? Read this from http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/tia/tia.htmWhat is Transient Ischemic Attack?A transient ischemic attack (TIA) is a transient stroke that lasts only a few minutes. It occurs when the blood supply to part of the brain is briefly interrupted. TIA symptoms, which usually occur suddenly, are similar to those of stroke but do not last as long. Most symptoms of a TIA disappear within an hour, although they may persist for up to 24 hours. Symptoms can include: numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body; confusion or difficulty in talking or understanding speech; trouble seeing in one or both eyes; and difficulty with walking, dizziness, or loss of balance and coordination. There is other really good information on that site too. Please take care of yourself!I love youSharon This and that Dear Group, Sharon has remarked about the 5 herb balm a couple of times. I have had many people tell me that it has greatly if not totally taken away their painful muscles. I am glad to hear that it has helped with the MS pain also. For those of you who have not gotten any of the balm you may want to try lavender as it is supposed to help sore muscles. (yes, it is one of the five herbs) Saturday, or maybe Friday night I went into a major attack. This time I had something new added that was very scary for me. This part started out with me not being able to say Sylvia (my sister's name) Then went on to having to think about how to say two words at a time. And I still could not say "s" words. This was real bad for several hours but is better now. I had them bring in my wc so I can get around but I really do not want to move. I am sleeping more and am not sure if it is an escape or a healing sleep. May you always find HAPPINESS and BUTTERFLIES Lynn Butterflies are angels bringing messages from God We won't tell. Guest guest
Did call the neuro. Would have gone to the hospital if I had gotten worse. Symptoms can include: numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body; confusion or difficulty in talking or understanding speech; trouble seeing in one or both eyes; and difficulty with walking, dizziness, or loss of balance and coordination. Did have a little numbness under my eye for a few minutes in the middle of the speech problem. Arm and leg on the right side had no more numbness or weakness than normal but a lot of pain which has started to lessen slightly today. pain started in the left calf late Saturday. No confusion nor trouble understanding speech or seeing, dizziness. It is possible but since the pain was there the night before and really had been getting worse for a few days before I am more incline to believe it is MS. At my age and health it is possible but at this point I do not think so. I will check out the site. Guest guest
When you had the gunshot-in-the-night episode and then the doc ordered a cat scan--did they do the cat scan with dye?(that was a bizarre sentence, wasn't it? lol)Sharon Re: This and that Did call the neuro.
