Want to get your mindoff your troubles and your pain, I have the answer. Everyone iswelcome to come to my house tonight and help with my daughters 14thbirthday party!! That's right. You get to help me corral 7, yes 7!!!!fourteen year old girls for an all-night sleepover!! Be prepared forlots, and lots, and lots of giggling, all night television on thecartoon network with accompanying squeals (very loud) when one oftheir favorite anime characters defeats the bad guy. You will also geta fabulous gourmet meal of Tombstone pizza, chips and french oniondip! Along with a non-fattening, no-calorie (YEA RIGHT) dessert of ahuge decorated chocolate chip cookie. No comparison to the bestItalian resturant in Dallas!!! In addition to all the fun alreadymentioned, you can help me wade through what I'm sure will be amountain of wrapping paper, empty boxes and ribbon from the presents(Please say a prayer that none have little bitty pieces this year!).Our goal is to get the wrapping paper and ribbon up before my twoinsane cats manage to strow it from one end of the house to the otheror tear it into tiny shreds like they enjoy so much!!! Other dutieswill include helping me make sure that once the girls are asleep onthe floor in their sleeping bags (peace and quiet finally???) that thecats, who are not used to people on the floor in sleeping bags, don'tattack them (i.e. jumping up on their chest and stomach and meowing,or taking their claw and batting at their hair) as they have beenprone to do in the past!!SOOOOO, any volunteers??? Come on, be brave, don't make me have to dothis alone!!! LOL ***hugs all around*** N.1. Guest guest
Hi , Sorry to have missed the party....lol. I really meant to be there but you know things came up and..... I did a holiday party that was a sleep over last January1 st. for 10 13and 14 year olds. Oh Lord, I don't think I've ever gotten over it. Of course the neighborhood boys got wind of it too and appeared at the door. Between the festivities, boys and cell phones it was quite a night. I stayed in my bedroom most of the night with the door baracaided. Only to come out to check up on everything. I hope you survived ok. Guest guest
You people are just tooooooo brave. I gave my dd the okay to have a big scarey halloween party in the back field with a bon fire and a haunted woods walk but nothing came of it, thank goodness!!!!!!!!!!! She too is 14. I think I would have shot myself by the end of the night. I'm not real good with teenagers. I love the 6-9 year old age group. they're still a little innocent at that age and a little sweetness left. Now, teenagers.....hmmmm, gotta think about that one! haha. I'm lucky, I have a good girl. She isn't into drinking and although she likes boys, they're not that interested in her as she has a weight problem. She has alot of boy "friends" but nothing to worry about. I just hope she doesn't grab the first guy that comes along and shows interest in her. that's what scares me to death. So, all you gals out there that have parties for teenagers, God bless you!!!!! haha Margaret, mom to the monsters Re: ~ Guaranteed to get your mind off your troubles Hi ,Sorry to have missed the party....lol.
