Guest guest
Hey Kate, It's good to hear from you! Thanks for posting this. It's good to hear the word plagiocephaly is getting around. > I haven't posted here in months. I was thumbing through the FSA > catalog I got in the mail today and in the description for the boppy > noggin nest, it said, " will help reduce flattening of the head called > positional plagiocephaly " . I have never seen this before. Guest guest
Kate, No kidding! It's about time the correct terminology is used about this condition. I hope it opens some doors for some great products for babies out there in the prevention of positional plagiocephaly. That is wonderful news, and thanks for sharing your find! Guest guest
Kate, When I received the summer edition of the catalog back in August, that advertisement is what prompted me to do the research on my son's head. We had been going back and forth with our former pediatrician and she would never tell us the name, if any, of my son's condition. When I did a search on positional plagiocephaly and looked at the pictures, I was shocked and at the same time relieved. Finally I had a name for his condition and I knew I was not just being a paranoid "first-time" mom.
