Guest guest
, It sounds as if Kim may have scaphocephaly. You can see a picture of baby with scaphy by going here: http://www.cranialtech.com/MedicalInfo/plagiocephaly.html scroll down to the bottom. 2 babies that come to mind are and Lorenzo. You can see their pictures in our photos section. Look in the Before and After folder then click on DOCbands. Welcome to the group. > > My Kim has an elongated head shape.... Guest guest
, HI!!! I'm glad to see you came! Lots of B & A pictures in the " photo " section of the group. Another Scaphy baby besides is Lorenzo. In my 1+ year here in the group, they are the only 2. I hope we are able to steer you in the right direction. Dustie > > My Kim has an elongated head shape.... Guest guest
Hi I'm pretty new to the goup but my daughter (5 3/4 mos) fits the scaphocephaly shape. The cranial technoligies clinician evaluated her as moderate in severity. She has torticollis so there are also some flat spots, and bossing of the left side of her forehead. She has been wearing a DOC band for two weeks and I think we are already seeing change. We had a little improvement as her torticollis resolved. I haven't posted any pictures of her yet, and ofcourse I don't have the afters but I am happy with our decision. I wish you lots of luck in making a decision and you have certainly come to the right place! mom to Ellen (5 3/4 mos DOC band 1/12/04)--- In Plagiocephaly , " mariahergenhan " <mariahergenhan@h...> wrote: > > My Kim has an elongated head shape....
