I have barely been on my computer for the last couple weeks. My little sister who is 18 had her baby on December 23rd. The placenta abrupted and they did an emergency c-section. The baby (a little girl named Kadince Rose) had no signs of life when she was born and her heart didn't start for 14 minutes. Due to that she had seizures and kidney, liver and stomach problems. She is in the NIC unit. She is doing better, she took her 1st bottle yesterday but she still has a collapsed lung. My husband and I have been spending alot of time at the hospital which is about 45 minutes away from home. We haven't been home before 11pm yet. Between that, babysitting a 4 yr old 3 days a week, working 2-3 days and trying to keep up with housework I am totally exhausted. I have been having alot of problems lately. It is still hard to tell what symptoms are from MS and what are from Meds. Today I found out that my Neuro is moving back to Cleveland which is about 1 1/2 hours away. I am kinda lost because I really liked and trusted him and since being newly diagnosed I don't know who to go to. I am willing to drive to Cleveland but he is not established anywhere yet. We have a huge neurocare center here and if you don't join them they will ruin your practice so that is pretty much what has happened. I will not go to neurocare because of that and they misdiagnosed me before anyways. Well I gotta go. Sorry for making this so long. I hope everyone is doing well. Guest guest
Jocelyn- I'm so sorry to hear about your little sister's baby. I will keep them both in my prayers. My youngest daughter almost died when she was born. She had a hole in her diaphragm, which caused her intestines to invade her chest cavity, collapsing one lung and leaving the other only 30% operable. But, through prayers and God's grace, she is a 24yr. old adult now, with her third child on the way. I know you're going to miss your neuro. He sounds like a decent man. It's so hard to get what you pay for these days. But, pay...we must. I'll keep you in prayer that you'll find another neuro. just as good as your last. And that you'll receive the best of care. Oh...BTW- My name is Valene. Most people just call me Val. I don't think we have met. I was away for a couple of months and recently returned. If we have met before, please excuse me for my forgetfulness. I have a really bad short-term memory problem. May God bless.... http://360.yahoo.com/vallee45 -- Hello to everyone I just wanted to day hi to everyone and I hope that you had a nice holiday.
