Hi Deb,

How is Aidan doing? Any idea how much longer he will be in his band?

I thought about you at Aidan's last band adjustment when the

orthotist called me by MY NAME! LOL It only took her 16 weeks and

countless phone calls to remember Aidan's mom is ....

Hope all is well with you guys!

Hi ,

That is too funny about calling you by name. Every time uses my name I

have to smile. He is the only dr/professional type I see that uses my name.

It's nice.

I've been pretty quiet on the board because I have been remiss in my helmet

duties. A few weeks ago Aidan was sick and running fevers so we left it off.

Now I find I take it off to clean it and unintentionally just leave it off.

SIGH. I'm tired of this thing. I know that is horrible but I am tired of it.

Had I not slacked, Aidan would be having his helmet off in about 2 weeks. We

have an appointment tomorrow, we shall see how it goes.

Thanks for asking! how is your Aidan doing? BTW - do you find we are in the

minority on how we spell their name?

Deb,

I know what you mean about wanting it to be over with. My Aidan has

been banded since the end of August and it seems like it has been

going on forever and a day, especially since he was borderline to

begin with.

I also understand full well about " cheating. " When Aidan was in the

hospital with pneumonia, his band came off and stayed off until he

felt better. I know that he should have had it on, yet, I could not

do it. It was more for me, and the snuggle factor with a really sick

baby, but it was a hard hard thing to do to put that band back on,

and get back into the routine. We have an appt in 2 weeks as well

and we will see if my Aidan is going to be in college with this darn

thing still on his head. LOL

And as for the spelling, I still think we have the common spelling of

it. I had to fight with my DH not to have it Aiden.

Keep us posted when Aidan has his next appt. I am waiting to see

that graduation post from you!

That's odd - I keep coming across " Aiden " ! not the way we spell it. Every

place I have gone to has spelled it " wrong. "

Ah - I totally understand the snuggling the sick baby factor. Though Aidan

wasn't nearly as sick as..well.. Aidan! And now we are working on learning

to go to sleep in our crib. There's a lot of screaming involved and usually

he is dripping sweat from being so worked up so I find I take it off even

then!

Sigh.

OK - sending graduation vibes to you!!
