Guest guest
Does anyone else here have TMJ.... if you do you can sympathisize with me a bit and give me some suggestions. I went back to the dentist today to finish off that root canal. He was goign to take the temporary filling out.. well he started to drill without any numbing at all... I was like ouch!~ He said did that hurt... ummm yeah!~ So he finally gave me some numbing stuff.. so for the next hour and a bit I had to keep my jaw wide open, as far as it could go. Dare I even say ouch. I dont think that even describes the pain I am feeling at this time. Any suggestions considering I have no pain meds here except excedrin?? Guest guest
Kathleen, You have a great dentist That would have been nice... i had to go to a clinic cuz they are the only ones that would take me on payments. And I am really happy about that, otherwise i would have had to deal with that pain as well. And we know how hard that would have been.. I am thankful to have gotten at least some of it taken care of... I just thought that if you had a root canal that the pain in the tooth thing should have stopped.. am i wrong??? Guest guest
Hi, Yes the pain should have stopped. The tooth will be sore and the area around where they worked will be sore for a while. But the pain that you had that sent you to the dentist in the first place should be better. If not I would call the dentist back. Did you have a regular dentist do the work or an Endodontist? Guest guest
I go to the clinic here basically because they will take payments and such.. have to deal with a less than professional dentist but I cant afford the others nor will they take me with no insurance. I think that any pain that I can feel and hurt above the pain that I already have is pretty bad lol KWIM...........anyway's thanks hun will call them.. Tried today but Mondays are their apparent days off:) Huggles you lots Sophia -- Re: Dentist Hi,Yes the pain should have stopped.
