Guest guest
Hey Debbie. Livy is doing pretty well in her helmet. She has had some peeling skin and redness on her forehead. We see the ortho for a checkup on Friday. The neuro and the ped both said they could definitely feel a difference in her head shape. Poor Livy had a viral infection this weekend and had a fever up to 104.2. Freaked me out. And she had dark yellow snot pouring out of her nose and her eyes (also very freaky). After I nursed her this morning she had a coughing fit that caused her to throw up/spit up the milk on the floor, then on her, then on me! I stayed home with her and I am under the weather so it was one heck of a day today. As for Pumpkin, she was ok until last Tuesday. She was unsteady on her feet that morning and by the time I got home, she had collapsed and was pretty far gone. I had already made an appointment to have her put to sleep the next day but we couldn't wait. So I took her to the vet ER and had her put down. It was very hard to do but at least she isn't suffering anymore. stayed at home with Livy and built a coffin for Pumpkin. I dug a hole in the front flower bed (that was the only place we had a good porch light and it was 10:30 at night) and we buried her there. I miss her something fierce. Hope things are going well for you and your family. > Hey Sohnia: > How's Livy doing in her helmet? How's the kitty?
