Guest guest
You might want to look into iodine therapy for her too. Iodine is good for reducing cysts and in suporting the thyroid (thyroid is made from it). Guest guest
After having read Dr. Jeffries' book Safe Uses of Cortisol, i would say that yes, hydrocortisone should have started first. I also have pcos and when i read Jeffrie's book, i could recognize my health history in it, including the pcos. dawn > > My daughter has been diagnosed with PCOS, adrenal fatigue, and > hypothyroidism. > > Her doctor has started her on metformin for the PCOS/ She told her once > she builds up the dose, she can then start on hydrocortisone for the > adrenal fatigue. > > Someone mentioned that she should have started with hydrocortisone > first. Guest guest
Well, THAT would be nice! I'm still low P, even with using cream supplementing. But some of that P is probably being raided for my body to try to make some cortisol. I just upped my dosing schedule. 3 weeks of iodine & counting > > Linn > > > On another forum that I'm on, it was stated that one practioner no > longer supplements directly with progesterone, but with iodine, and in > all cases the progesterone has self-corrected. > > >
