Guest guest
K. I had this happen to me a few years back. my teeth was breaking off and getting infected.. Needless to say at 32 I had ALL my teeth pulled out OUCH!!!! I was told it was because I wasn't getting enough calcium in my diet. but not sure if the doc. actually knew what he was talking about.. take care. Gentle HUG'S Marie A. Guest guest
Marie, Me too. Had all but 10 teeth pulled and partials made which took me a year of adjustments before I could wear them for any length of time..So what happened?? I've lost 4 of the ten and my medical Dr. said it's from my sugar intake not calcium intake tho I have arthritis also. Severe degenerative joint and bone disease which is why I'm disabled. Have ruptured of slipped every lumbar disc I have and after two back surgeries and a lot of nerve damage I had to quit nursing. But I broken or cracked more than 8 bones in the last 8 years so we check periodicaly to see how things stand. Have had to promise to stay off ladders and standing on chairs to reach things..fracured my heel and broke my arm falling off the 3 rd step of a step ladder...I take extra calcium daily as a precaution. Just Me... K
Guest guest
K. oh wow it does sound like you have brittle bone disease. I think that's what you call it. I was in a truck accident (my semi rolled over) in DEC,99. I had numerous bruise's from head to toe. concussion, damaged rotary cuff, 6 in. gash on my upper shoulder blade. pieces of glass and metal in my left ear. all my teeth was loose but then eventually got better.. except for constant tooth aches.. in 2001 I went to have a back tooth pulled the dentist told me they all needed to be pulled said. it was do to lack of calcium. which I admit. I do not get enough.. and I of all people should know better.. So I had all me teeth pulled. in late 2001.. I now have dentures. I only wear my top plate. my bottom plate keep's breaking teeth. I keep gluing them back in cause I cannot afford to get a new set.. what we don't put up with when we are poor. Take Care Gentle Hug's Marie Marie A. Roomsburg pretty_n_cute2002@... marieava@...
