I had a severe reaction to Actos the first time I took the prescribed dose.

I cannot even explain how badly I felt. I then cut my dose to a fourth of

the prescribed dose. Then I stopped taking it at all cause I am on too much

other medication right now. So I figured I would not react well to it

either.

it doesn't affect everyone liek it did me. BUT a word to the wise. If

yu try it start very low. Split those 500MG tablets in half and only take

one half a day for the first week, then add the second half. Have Immodium

on hand just in case.Probabyl the reaction I had was from the idoit doctor's

DOSE he started me on. He started me on 2000MG a day with no working up to

it. Then once my system is in MOOOOVIN mode, it just kept going. I am sure

this is at least part of the reasonm I am this tired still.

Wow, this sounds JUST like my 5 year old son! And my daughter is

hypothyroid too. , it sounds like we're living parallel lives here.

I suspect my daughter has adrenal issues. The doc gave her aglandular, but

that gave her headaches. I've had her on Adrenal Support Plus, and that

helps, but now she is having trouble with math again, and having bad dreams

and says the teachers are mean, so that means she needs more thyroid. and I

JUST yesterday canceled her appt. because she was doing so much better, and

thought we could float for another 6 weeks until the new insurance plan

kicks in. <grrrrrr> Maybe I'll just call and see if she'll call it in for

me.

Hmmm, I don't know. Good question. She does sleepwalk from time to time,

but I never connected it with anything (nor tried, really). She fell asleep

on the couch the other night (Monday, I think), and said she said she fell

off the couch, slept walk around for a bit, then wandered up to bed. I'm

not sure if that's the night she had the nightmare or not. I'll have to ask

her.
