What made me feel really bad was that he didn't call me all

day long to see how I was doing. His excuse was that he figured I'd be

sleeping and he didn't want to wake me up. That doesn't wash, because

usually he calls me several times a day, and if I'm not awake he leaves a

message on the answering machine. It is true that I sleep all day

and I'm up all night, but still, he could have called. And, he actually

guilt-tripped me into ironing his clothes to wear to work today. As you

said, MEN!!!!.

I left a really nasty message on his voice mail at work before took

me to the hospital.....I said I was going to the hospital and not to

bother staying home from his other job to come to the hospital because

would be staying with me;

I still can't see out of my left eye today, but I'm hoping that once the

swelling goes down and the pressure on my eye lessens the vision will

come back. I can see bright lights, so I think it's starting to come

back.

Cyn,

I know what you mean about men. If I had to do it over again (getting

married) I am not so sure I would. I feel like all my hubby has

really cared about all along since diagnosed with Hashimotos and FMS

is how much less often we have sex. It is his only issue with me

being sick I think and really hurts my feelings. So I can empathize

about having a partner that doesn't seem to care. I am so sorry yours

is behaving like a jerk. But I know how you feel. It hurts.

Love,

Kim (your TN neighbor)

Than you, Penny!

my son came over (he works about 10 minutes away) and took me to the

hospital, and stayed with me until they got around to tests that he

couldn't be there for. But it made me feel really good to have him there.

He said he was really going to rag on about neglecting me, but I

told him not to. I don't want bad feelings between my kids and

husband.

If I ever do need an ambulance, the fire dept is less than a mile away,

and the hospital is also a mile away, in the other direction. There is a

woman across the street from me who is BiPolar (as I am) and has Fibro as

well. I've seen the ambulance there a few times. I can't believe we've

lived so close to each other and never met. I don't know if I should walk

across the street and introduce myself, or if she wants to be left

alone.

,

He told me he figured I was sleeping and didn't want to disturb me. Our

answering machine has an annoying beep that sounds every time someone

leaves a message, and it wakes me up and puts me in a foul mood, because

I have to get up and listen to the message or it'll beep all day. I was

ready to stomp the thing into tiny shards when I noticed a small switch

on the back that said " message alert " and I switched it off so

now it doesn't beep at me. So now he has no excuses.

I was ready to stomp the thing into tiny shards OMG Know this feeling very well... when my phone rings all the dang day long and I have to get up to get it or find it or whatever and then there is no one on line.... or they just like breathe... I have definitely felt like taking the dang phone and tossing it clear to china .. but then i would hurt worse.. BUT it would be worth it ;) Huggles you lots ;) Sophia -- Re: Scared/cynthia ,He told me he figured I was sleeping and didn't want to disturb me. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone.
