Is it possible that people may react in different ways?

You shouldn't stress dose all day, only when you feel yourself shaking

or nauseated. Then just take another pellet and if that doesn't stop it,

take another then. But you should;'t need extra all day.

Yes it is very possible that people react differently. I even react

differently sometimes. Most the time I never got too nauseated just a

light wave of is as in passing, I DID have way bad fatigue levels though.

Val,

Does HC really help the fatigue or does the HC letting the thyroid hormones

into your cells help the fatigue.

I am on 25 mg hc and 2 grains armour. I am soooo tired. I know the armour

is way too low. I've been on that dose a week. Have an appointment with

the doctor next tuesday to convince her to give me a higher dose

prescription. But do I need more Armour or more HC?

last night I had to get up and took 5 more mg of hc because my heart was

pounding so that was 30 mg for the day.

No Linn, I don't think I've ever had it checked. But I am going to ask for

that when I see the doc on Wednesday. She will probably want to do blood

work before she will raise my Armour.

Thanks

The HC does nto give you direct energy except that it causes your blood sugar

levels to go up very temporarily. The reason it gives energy is it allows the

thyroid to work properly, but you need to ahve the thyroid there for it to do

that. I would certianly do another thyroid increase and if doc won't help you

order your own.

The heart pounding could be due to low ferritin. I had this bad and

found out that my ferritin level was 9, so it was no wonder I had no

energy and the heart pounding. Haven't had any problems with the

heart pounding since I started the iron and got my ferritin level up

some. You probably need to specifically ask for a ferritin level,

lots of times they only check the hemoglobin.

Well thank you for the good wishes but here I am at 4.23 am. awake again.

The extra h.c stopped the palps thankfully and I realise now, well the sneezes

were the clue lol, that I am still fighting a virus which has been hanging

around now for a week, coming and going, maybe secondary infection setting in

now.

So lots of Vit C and back to bed for me. And, like you, I will take that

extra bed-time dose tomorrow night also as there simply is no getting to sleep

otherwise is there?

Hope you feel better soon.

Well at least we can think of each other while we get up!! I think I'm going to

take 2.5 mg BEFORE I got to bed tonight. I lay there last night with my heart

pounding thinking I need to get up yet too tired to actually do it. It was so

bad last night that I was still awake at 11:30 after taking an Ambien at 9:45.

Hope you have a better night.

Ditto Beebee, the h.c helped me get off to sleep and I had taken various

work!

Still struggling with some kind of virus, maybe a second one sneaked in when

I went out yesterday as that can be a danger when weakened from an initial

infection, the second one gets very easy entry because the immune system is

weakened.

And I have had a lot of stress which is probably why I am getting these

infections in the first place.

So sorting out has been done in that department. Onwards and upwards!

But first, lots of rest (sorry Doggie - it's a pyjees day) and lots of

Vitamin C.

You see I am alright now except for feeling tired. I just planned to rest up

cpmp[letely today to try and recover from whatever it soging on.

And I have not had a runny nose, eyes streaming. cough, (though I did have a

tightness in my chest yesterday but nothng else which is what is making me

think you may have hit the nail on the head here Val. There IS this sneezing

and heavy sweating which went on on two separate nights, separated by several

days.

And this shaking thing. I always say this never happens to me. Well I am

reassessing that because recently and right now I am feeling a KIND of

shakiness, but it is subtle, not an open physical shakiness. I have been calling

it

anxiety and I have been feeling like this for a week or so. Like an inner

shaking?

Should I stress dose and see if the shakiness goes?

Suppose your answer would be yes, so that is what I will do.

Thanks so much.

Hi

Well I did this time last week, big-time and then I was well enough to go

out one night at the weekend as planned and also to have a friend over for a

meal on Sunday.

Then when I stopped stress-dosing I think it started up again.

I think Val may have sussed it because you see I am in the process of

reducing my h.c and have been under a lot of stress this past week or so so

maybe

it is this that is causing the symptoms becausew they come and and they go

which is kind of wierd, a virus is other there or it is not?

Hi

I did reply but it has not come through yet.

I have been reducing my h.c so on half of what I was originally taking i.e.

15 mg.

So a LOT of stress kicked in around the time of the arrival of what I

think/thought is a virus.

But it was a strange-acting virus. Now you see it now you don't kind of

thing.

And I thought that was because I did some serious stress dosing last weekend.

I am perfectly fine right now apart from this inner shakiness and being v.

tired. I did take 15 mg when Val suggested it a little while back and thought

the shakiness would go but it has not so I am really confused.

I was OK yesterday except still v. stressed - no cold symptoms as such -

until the middle of the night when I start sneezing and sweating.

I am so confused now.

Is this meant for me Val?

Gosh!!!! If it is meant for me, maybe you are right because this has

been one wierd virus.

It started with sore gland(s) on one side of my throat and that was all

that happened for four days or so.

Then I had a night of sneezing and heavy sweats.

Next day my temp. was up and I rested up all day. Next day I was well

enough to go out for the evening.

And the next day I had a friend over for a meal. Mind you I was heavily

stress dosing for those few days.

Then I went back on my normal (reducing dose) and that's what I thought

I got another virus!

Last night, heavy sweating and sneezing in the night and I am in pyjama

mode again today.

I wonder..........

Even the cortisol doggie guru, Plechner, says when your pets get a virus,

cold, etc.; to give them some pet HC.

If it is, how much should I take.

When i was stress-dosing the other day I was taking high amounts.

At the moment I am taking 2 1/2, 5, 5, and 2 1/2 with the problems

appearing at bedtime with palps and then sweats, sneezing in the night.

I took an extra 2 1/2 late last night which helped.

Thanks.

When I stress dose I do it for the whole day, not just one dose. That

inside shakiness is what I get and then take the HC in a higher dose for

that day and it is gone by the next day. If not I stress dose the next day

too.

Are you feeling better?
