Guest guest Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Oh ... I'm sooooo sorry that this happened to you. hugs to you {{{{{{{{{{{{{ KAREN }}}}}}}}}}}}}}} I've only been pregnant twice and miscarried both times. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get pregnant since the last miscarriage and now I'm 47 and I don't think it would be wise both because of my age and my huge list of medical problems that I'm really trying to work on. My last pregnancy had me on full time bedrest and progesterone suppositories, yet is was still not meant to be. When you miscarry, your body still hasn't gotten it's hormone levels back to normal so you will feel more emotional right now. It will take time, but your body will bounce back. As for your emotions, allow yourself to grieve. You experienced a loss. To me a miscarriage is still the loss of a child and needs to be grieved for. You need to grieve for the child, grieve for your loss, and what both of you as a couple have lost. Your significant other will be in almost as much pain and sadness as you are, but may not be able to express them the same way. Don't be afraid to cry and don't be afraid if he does as well... These are healing tears and I promise you that it will get better with time. I wish I could give you a massive hug right now as I know exactly what you are feeling. We are all here for you anytime you need us. Take care sweetie... and allow yourself this time to recover. extremely gentle and healing hugs, Norah Norah Bleazard - Burlington, Ontario Canada www.bleazard.net ~ www.janorlites.com E-MAIL= norah.fibroyahoo@...
