Visual Disturbances/Chiari Related???

Hello to all,

My son is wondering if anyone experiences "seeing" vivid colors when their eyes are closed. He has this in addition to other visual disturbances common to Chiari,nystagmus to name one. Thanks for any information regarding this strange symptom.
