urologist - anything I should be aware or wary of?

I've been reading all the daily posts and they are very helpful. I need to talk

things out right now - Dad started having incontinence issues. We are going to

the urologist 12/29/10. It's my understanding that many folks with Lewy Body

have incontinence issues. He does take a " water pill " furosemide he's been

taking that since he was in his 30's or 40's.

I was wondering what kind of bed pads or adult diapers work well. I was

wondering if medication works or if surgery works and if either (meds or

surgery) do more harm than good.

My thanks, thoughts and prayers are with everyone here in the group. I

appreciate all your posts as they open my eyes and prepare me for the things to

come.
