Guest guest
I’ve been having a bad weekend and Monday so far. Usually I am achy but this has been actual piercing pain in my elbow and back. It seems like my back is doing a little better today though! What’s worse, yesterday for the first time, I had a terrible problem with my hands. So between the hands and right elbow it’s been impossible to work. All the work I do is with my hands typing, moving a mouse, writing or drawing. My fingers were “jerky” yesterday and had no strength, so I couldn’t hold a pen well. It was frustrating as I had the time to get caught up a little with work but couldn’t do much. I’m having some trouble today with the elbow again, so working’s been tough. I’m wondering if it’s something I ate because we’ve been trying some new things lately looking for more variety.
Guest guest
I've been feeling pretty yucky too. In my case it was my legs that hurt so bad. Today, I'm just out of it. I got up had one cup of cofffee, and layed down on the sofa and ...... out I went. I was feeling rather feverish too. Can't get warm, or I'm too warm.... no happy medium today. The snow I'm sure didn't help. Hope you're feeling better. Tigger Wow...bad few days I’ve been having a bad weekend and Monday so far. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
Where are you Tigger? I’m in NY and we got a snow storm during the night as well. Though I am feeling better today than yesterday – I have been thinking about getting one of those barometers. You know how they rise and fall according to the weather? I’ve wanted to get one to just sort of see if the barometric pressure caused by the weather has any effect on flares. Wouldn’t it be nice to help predict, even if only by a few hours or days? ------------------------ I've been feeling pretty yucky too. In my case it was my legs that hurt so bad. Guest guest
Aloha , i really think we are human barometers (as discussed in the other posts) - today i was actually woke up feeling much better - still cloudy outside, but sure enough: by 10am it was a gorgeous day at last & i got done w/ work early and went straight 2 the beach and laid in the sun for hours and My Oh My!!! I feel 100% back to "normal" (being: just having basic chronic pain & not wanting to chop arms off. LOL) anyway, i really hope u feel better... i feel for you sweetie... just had 5 days of hell myself!! -Jaana Wow...bad few days I’ve been having a bad weekend and Monday so far. Guest guest
What scares me is losing my ability to work. I work as a writer and an artist now that I am home. I should say, I used to be an EMT and can’t do that if I wanted to and I am still planning to open a business here locally and worry that I won’t be able to because HOW am I going to do what I need to do when I am having a completely off day due to pain or fibro fog? I plan on doing classes and worry that I’ll forget everything. And how will I complete good photos if I can’t hold my camera up? Many times I can’t even hold a phone. Yesterday I could barely sign my name and it scared me. Fibro’s taken much of my sex life, my ability to play with my kids like they want, and my EMT abilities - and I think I’d just shrivel up if I lost my hands too. I’m a little bummed about the whole thing. BUT in the good news, my back and hands are behaving! It was replaced by knee pain instead. Ya win some, ya lose some I guess J
