Guest guest
That's funny... We took the pedals off my daughter's bike when we taught her how to ride her bike. It did help her learn to balance to prepare her for just getting comfortable on the bike and being independent. We made sure her feet could touch the ground. Within 3 days, she was riding on her own. I had to run beside her the whole time though and "touch" her back when she was learning, even though I helped her very little. I just made sure she wouldn't fall hard because she would've been too discouraged to try again if she had. Best of luck! You ride it like a ride-on toy so that you don't have to pedal while learning balance. My son had a lot of trouble learning to pedal. I will let you know how it goes. >> Seeing a couple posts on working on riding with/without training wheels, I> just wanted to post this site for anyone who is interested.
