Yep, I know EXACTLY what you mean about people just trusting what their docs tell them. It floors me too! Zina <<<My friend was rx'd Armour and taking it for 2 weeks then retested, and her doc switched her to cytomel (?) & levoxyl and she took her armour and flushed it down the toilet. I just looked at her in disbelief (am still waiting PATIENTLY for my armour to arrive, it was shipped on Monday). I told her that she had just gone from a natural thyroid to a synthetic, and she replied, " oh, that's odd " since she had specifically NOT wanted to take synthetics. What really floors me is that people just trust these docs and don't do any research. I suggested that she look into these groups and talk to a mutual friend who is studying to be a naturopath and has a majorly serious opinion about Armour vs synthetics. So frustrating!
