Zithro, Tindamax and Rifampin

Does anybody have experience with these meds? We have had our 6 year old on

Zithromax for a little over a month and he is doing great. Our Lyme doctor now

wants to add tindamax and rifampin. We had tried Bactrim but it gave him hives.

He tested positive for Erlichia and Mycoplasma (M pneumoniae) so our doctor is

trying to attack those.

Also, looking at my son's lab tests, I am kind of freaking out. His

BUN/Creatinine ratio is super high - 48 with a ref range of 8-27. Also, urine ph

of 8, a 1+ for protein in his urine, crystals present and a blood serum glucose

of 93 (ref 65-99).

Are these typical of lyme kids or should I be worried about kidney

damage/diabetes? Any help would be appreciated.
