The author is a registered dietician and she puts together simple, nutricious and (very important) delicious weekly menus by season, complete with shopping lists. I can get through the grocery store in a half an hour or so, and I find that we're eating better than ever and saving money at the same time. We would save even more money if I went to a wholesale club and got my meat and poultry from there. I know what's for dinner, and if my husband gets home before me the menu's on the refrigerator, dry ingredients and spices are laid out and ready to go, and he starts cooking. I like the way she does menus by season as you can eat better and save money by using whatever vegetables are in season at the time.
