How about spaghetti, french toast (that's what I make my husband when

we're broke). If you're making ground meat, like for tacos or

lasagna, hamburger helper or something, you can add oatmeal to

stretch it. Oh, and I don't know if they have it where you live, but

Zatarains, they make really good Jambalaya and Dirty Rice, just add

the meat, chicken, sausage, whatever you want. It's on the aisle

with the rice, right down from the RiceaRoni in my store. They also

make them with pasta too. Really yummy and usually very cheap.

Hi, I buy chicken quarters (really cheap!) boil them, then I make chicken and dumplings. A whole big pot is really cheap. I buy the Jiffy mix to make the dumplings it is like 99 cents a box at walmart. You can serve them over instant mashed potatoes and have a vegie with them. also, a big pot of chili is cheap. You can get a small pkg. of hamburger and mix it with a roll of pork sausage on sale and fry it together and it makes wonderful chili!!! um....... also, sloppy joes are cheap if you use hamburger add oatmeal and some cracker crumbs crushed real fine , it stretches the meat and no one knows the difference. Also, chicken quarters boiled, then deboned, take the meat add to cooked rice then fry onions and celery add some broth, it is really good chicken and rice. Cornbread (jiffy mix) is real cheap and makes a meal more filling with some butter on it. Pinto beans with cornbread real cheap and easy. Apples, cut and cook them down with some sugar and cinnamon then serve over bisquits, taste just like apple cobbler. Hope these ideas help!!!

I LOVE making this... and in fact, might make it tonight.

Buy some of s Cream of Chicken and Cream of Mushroom soup, get

some chicken (preferrably boneless). I usually bake it in a 9 "

glassware pan, but use what you can.

Mix the Cream of chicken soup an the cream of mushroom soup (I suppose

you could use other soups too if you wanted...), I usually mix those

two soups with one can of water to keep it thicker, but it all depends

on how thick you want it. Bake the chicken in the soup at about 425.

I've spiced up the soup mix with a litle garlic and onion and some

other herbs, and I've also put some rice in the bottom of the pan to

cook while to chicken is cooking.

MMmm... now I want some!

Loves and hugs,

This is also delicious if you add a package of the dry hidden valley ranch dressing mix. It gives it a wonderful flavor. When I do mine, I use two cans of cream of chicken soup and one can of water along with the dressing mix for chicken and use two cans of cream of mushroom, one can of water, dressing mix for pork chops. It is delicious with either. I always serve with rice and use the soup mixture as gravy. My teenage son LOVES it.
