My 35th wedding Anniversary!

And “they” said it wouldn’t last! Lol…, actually I never

thought I would stay married this long. But my guy has stood with me thru

everything, and I couldn’t have asked for a more loyal friend and lover. We

got together as a dare, and it was the best thing I ever did. We are

pretty opposites in many things, and we have had our share of up’s and

down’s, and heartache, but also some really happy times.

We both have our own illnesses

to deal with now, me with MS and him with Lupus, but we keep on keep trucking

along……..

I can’t really do

anything special like I use to, but I sent him an e-card to his work so it will

be one of the first e-mails he opens. I was thinking of sending some balloons or

something later there too. I have another card I am making for home, and we

have homemade Spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. Not real romantic, but my

daughter will be here, so…………. Lol…… ;-)

I know what you mean by the heat I have some work I want done

on 2 fence gates and I already worked on one gate on Saturday. When my

wife saw what my son and I had done she asked if I was leaving it

that way. I told Judy no but when it is this warm and I need my work

done I end up having to play beat the clock. Yesterday in the evening

it cooled down enough for me to finish it. Judy is great helping me out

all the time so I may leave the other gates to her and my kids to

finish.

It is suppose to get up to 86deg. today.

Our weather men always says in Arizona it is 100

but it is a dry heat. Here in Indiana on an 80 degree day with humidity

it can easily feel like 100 deg. I always tell Judy 100 degree's that

still must be hot. Our weather men are often wrong also and I tell Judy

then I can predict better by looking out the window.

Happy anniversary!! I just love it when I hear of couples who actually stay together through thick and thin. True love NEVER die. And I believe that. Hey, spaghetti and meatballs can be very romantic...you just have to set the mood. Kinda hard though with "company" I would imagine.

Hope you have a great day! Make it the best ever.

Hi

Bill,…….thank you for that lovely song! I have always loved it. As I

was listening to it, it brought back memories of when Steve and I renewed our

vows on our 10th anniversary. We had gone to a Marriage retreat with

our church up on Orcas Island in the San De Fuca straits N of Whidbey Island,

Wa. The marriage retreat was specifically for couples to renew their vows

before God, and to strengthen their commitment to each other. The best part was

Steve and I were water baptized arms locked with each other as we were lowered

into Lake Moran together. It was AWESOME!!

I

really miss living up in that area. At least if it got hot during the day, the marine

air would come in at night and cool everything down. I was talking to one of my

good friends from Whidbey last night and she said it was in the 90’s, and

she was really hot! I kind of laughed and said, ah, huh right!! lol….,

then last night I noticed on the Whidbey weather report that the temp had

dropped down to 66!! My AC went off for a little while yesterday, and it got to

about 75 inside, and it was around 80, at 10 pm! ACK!!

Thank

you again. It was so sweet of you to send us that song. I’m going to play

it again tonight when Steve gets home so he can enjoy it too.
