The waistband will be above your incision and won't rub. A good way to protect the incision that I learned from my c-sections, is to take a maxi pad and put it inside of the front of your panties so that it cushions the incision. This helps if you are going outdoors or something like that, but you want the air to be able to get to it while you are just lying around in bed. I think I will have him do staples and then get the remover thingy and just take them out ourselves. I trust my DH with my life and I know he would never hurt me intentionally.
