Guest guest
Hi & welcome to our group:We have had a couple previous CO members in the same debate as you are having. There aren't many band or helmet providers in your state. I'll go search the archives, but there was a family who found a STARband orthotist in CO and her daughter had good correction, even though she was older. I'll find the post & find it to you w/the specifics. Otherwise, there is a company called "Angel Flight" who flies parents and babies at no cost at all for treatment, they often fly DOCbanded babies to Cranial Tech for treatment. We currently have 2 members using their services. We have not been to the neurosurgeon yet, but just got the referral so we will as soon as possible. Depending on what we find out, I'm wondering if banding is going to be an option for us either way. We are in Denver and the closest CT is Kansas City (9 hour drive)! I read a story of a Denver family who went to Phoenix, but they flew many times and we can't afford that. Is there anyone out there from Denver? If you can't go to CT, does children's hospital have something available? Ben is 5 months on the 11th and I'm getting nervous that we are running out of time. Thanks for your help. For more plagio info
