Guest guest Posted March 17, 2008 Report Share Posted March 17, 2008 Hi I'm Sandy and have suffered for 14 years with horrible nerve pain in my back and my left leg. They have tried everything; even a morphine pump, which they had to take out. Now I have spinal cord injury on top of every thing else. The best thing that has helped me is 30 mg morphine 3 x day and Dilaudid 2.5 1 tab 3 x day for breakthrough pain, along with pills for depression and sleeping pills. But it's been 14 years of H----. I'm basically homebound. I walk with a cane or walker, but do fall from time to time. Life just isn't isn't the same anymore, I watch it go by more than I partake.
