Too bad I didn't cut and dry more lavender flowers this year... I am sure it would have been an added benefit to add those to the mix. ;-) I do have a few though, so can add them to it. So do you use regular rice or what? I am not into sewing unfortunately... <g> I can't tell you how many pairs of pants I have had hanging on my bedpost for... umm.. 2 years now? that need to be hemmed... :-P I really just don't even do a good job at it. I could however, find a sock and add it to that and tie up one end maybe... well.. not sure how well that would work either...Aw I could break down and sew one little sock I am sure huh? ;-) If I had the funds it would be nice to just velcro it so I could add things to it or take away or whatever. Do you ever need to change the rice? Probably not but it would be nice to wash the sock sometimes I imagine... I make them for you neck they look like a long snake.(no eye's and no hiss. lol) I make big one's and small one's.. you can make them with velcro. my MIL used to make them that way and just slip a whole bag of white rice in side it. a lot easier to clean.. and as far as I know the rice never goes bad..only if the pad get's real wet BUT if you keep it in a plastic zip loc type bag it will never get ruined..
