Guest guest
Margaret, I guess I'm just not used to talking about the pain & all & just seem to be complaining when I do. I need to remember that everyone else here is going thru pretty much the same thing I am. > , why would you think you would depress us? you sound like 90% of > us!!! Glad you joined the group. I hope you find help and friendships here. > Margaret, > mom to the monsters >
Guest guest
Yep, , if you just need to write to us and say " WWWWWAAAAHHHHH, I hurt like hell today " and sign your name to it, we will all understand!! I can't talk to my mom about it, although she will ask me every morning, " how are you feeling " . I tell her and she will say something like " maybe you need to get more exercise " or something stupid like that. SOmetimes I think she doesn't even believe I have this. Although her best friend has it and she gets all the sympathy in the world from my mom, it's just like I'm faking it or something! ugh. So I cannot complain to her. So, I come to you guys!! While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. > > 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. > > > Have a nice day everyone. > >
Guest guest
I am sorry to hear the things your mom says to you, we all need all the support we can get. My mom is pretty supportive although she doesn't know all what I am going thru. When I talk to her she asks me how I am feeling but never says anything neg she just feels for me. My twin sister she is supportive also. Her DH doesn't quite understand why I didn't want to go watch their 3 yr old last week when she had the flu & she told him I have enough problems to deal with without worrying about catching it myself. She has dragged me out of the house a couple times the past month b/c I never leave the house unless it is for dr or atty appt's. Talk about an exhausting 2-3 hrs. I had to cut our last outing short b/c I couldn't take the pain & exhaustion any longer. I was laying in bed last night trying to get comfy & the thought of me being a hydrocondriact sp? kept running thru my mind. Now I know I'm not b/c the pain it too real but at times you just feel like you are, anyone else feel like that sometimes? I was very healthy & my pain tolerance was so high nothing got me down but the past yr or 2 has been hell & things have just snow balled & so quickly. And I am having a hard time having to depend on others to help out & whatnot, not being able to do anything near what I was able to do just a short time ago. > Yep, , if you just need to write to us and say " WWWWWAAAAHHHHH, I > hurt like hell today " and sign your name to it, we will all understand!!
