Reader's Digest Article re: Nursing Homes

I was going to write to tell everybody who could, to go out and buy

this month's copy of the USA's version of the Reader's Digest. (Canada

has a different version). Then it occurred to me that the article

might be available on line. It was.

Whatever country you live in, please read this shocking article, even

if you don't have someone you know in a nursing home at the moment.

Chronic pain people end up in nursing homes, right along with seniors

and the permanently disabled. We need to be prepared if and when the

time comes for us or one of our friends or family.
