Guest guest Posted February 13, 2006 Report Share Posted February 13, 2006 Hi , I have a lawyer now and they're preparing for the hearing. The only doctor I'm seeing is a chiropractor, who has already written up a report for the lawyers. The strange thing about all this is that the lawyers didn't want to take the case because she's only a chiropractor. But one day out of the blue, they called me and told me they were taking on my case. My worry now is that I'm not taking meds and wonder if that's a requirement for disability. They can't discriminate against me because I choose alternative treatments, can they? Also, what happens if, in the future, I don't want to be on disability anymore? Would I have to pay back all benefits I might receive? I'm just worrying to the extreme today. I'll go take some white chestnut right now. Thank you, Tonya I'll check out those sites too.
