Hey there, how is everyone doing? List seems a bit quiet as far as general chatter goes...I've been blogging my LDN experiences, so far so good, as a matter of fact I'm pretty pleased with my progress!

The weather lately has been nothing short of glorious! I know Lou is not too far from here, so he's getting it too! Hey Lou...if you're even in my area come on over for dinner ok? We can grill some cow...Invite goes to anyone coming through WV on I-81...you'll pass right by me so why not stop in for a visit?

Hi Akiba and all, It is glorious weather! I have been fasting -well, a vegetable mainly and some juice and a bit of fruit since Friday, this is day #4, and I feel so good and energized. What prompted it was a man at our church who is dying of cancer, and I went with a friend to visit him and his wife and daughter at Calvary Hospital, more or less a facility where they make you comfortable, and that is about all...So I wanted Friday to be a day of prayer and fasting. Then I decided to stay with it...perhaps in the hopes of a miracle, or until his passing. The doctors think his time is near.I am feeling pretty good, just the sensory stuff in my hands and feet and some trigeminal pain. How is everyone else? blessings and love to all,

Funny, you started something to make someone else feel better and it's making You feel better!!

My hubby lately cannot tolerate meat, he gets stomach pain when he eats it, so I've had to go to an almost total vegetarian menu, he can eat a little chicken and fish if Ok but other then that...no go. Lots of salads and I've been creating a vegetable stew kind of thing, great with some brown rice! When I should be pulling a nice roast out for Sunday dinner instead I'm making a big salad...I suppose it IS better for you but I *do* miss meat...(he says Go ahead and cook it for Robbin and you, but I don't think it's fair to make him smell it when he can't eat it!)

Hey Akiba!

There's a big thunderstorm a brewin' here in NC.. Looks like it might be heading your way. We have been under a sever thunderstorm warning. I had to shut down for a bit. It looks like it's clearing up here in our town. But, it is heading west. Actually, I think it's northwest. Hope you don't get it. It stormed here lastnight. I didn't find out about it until this morning. I slept right through it. Did hear that parts of Missouri and Tennessee weren't so lucky. 23 people were killed.

Spring has sprung down here in Texas. A balmy 92

yesterday. Today it is in the uppers 70s and sunny. Its beautiful. Not quite

ready for those 90s yet.

The big question here, not initiated by me, is why this is happening to

him. Has he had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done by a competent

gastroenterologist. Could be GERD, that is, Gastro-intestinal Reflux

Disease, possibly caused by hiatal hernia. Ask a real doctor! Love,

We did have some fairly intense storms come though, intense for here, anyway, on any given summer day it would be three times worse, at best...those daily thunderstorms in Fla can be something!!! But you knkw the worst "short storm"s are the good ol' NY Microburst!!!!! Short, INTENSE, and sometimes very damaging...never forget them, just glad they don't have them here in good ol' East Virginia!!!!
