woooah! They better not! It has been helping me sleep for years. As a matter of fact; it's the only sleep drug I know of, that doesn't make you dopey, isn't narcoticy, and doesn't leave a hangover; you just feel like you naturally want to go to sleep! No ill effects for me whatsoever.

It does indeed affect the memory, but whooptedo - it's temporary. You are supposed to take it when you go to bed - not before. Your memory is fine in the morning. It isn't like you are "under the influence" and don't know what you are doing. I do however take it a little before... I shouldn't and have been trying to get myself to not do that but... :-P I have been known to write emails I don't really reember... lol! But wow - to say it is bad and take it away, just wouldn't be right. :- / I definitely don't see it as dangerous whatsoever. Meds react differently with all people though. I can't tell you what a God-send it has been for me. It's also supposed to be used temporarily - for people with occasional insomnia. I've been suing it for years with no problems though... [except the memory.. haha]. But for me I'd need to ask: what's the lesser of the two evils?; losing *some* memory temporarily or no sleep?? Of course to lose the memory while the drug is in my system, would be the lesser. Just my 2-cents.

It's like any drug. There are different effects on different bodies. So those who have had bad effects from any drug will have bad things to say. Those that have had good effects will have good things. YOu cannot just listen to one person about a drug. You have to find if it works for YOUR body.
