I have BAD anxiety attack's.. I don't get as manic as I once did but that is b/c I came to terms with a lot of thing's in my past don't think you out grow it but do tink it get's some what better over tie with the right med's.. doc. has me on Zoloft, and Elavil. for now. he want's to see if the zoloft will help with out anything else.. he suggestd prozac I said no way.. Guest guest Posted November 26, 2004 Report Share Posted November 26, 2004 marie, omg, i've tried prosac twice and each time i had the worse panic attack ever, i mean EVER. hey, maybe my mania is under control because of the ativan, maybe my mania is the anxiety. never thought of it like this before. i used to have definite mood SWINGS though, i mean HIGHS and LOWS and do some pretty bizarro things when manic. that's when i was in my 20s, 30s, heck, my 40s too. (i'm 56 now.) zoloft has really been a good drug for me. i seem to be more level than ever before in my life. "You can never be too rich, too thin or have enough Barbies!
