Guest guest Posted November 9, 1999 Report Share Posted November 9, 1999 ohhh i got a story!!!!!! the same night I got that done, I had to go to my church for something, I beleive it was new member training or something like that (my memory is fading in old age) anyway i was really excitted to show off what I did, I have always been close to my pastor hes been there with me through it all you know and I showed it to him....at first he didnt say much....then he said " Caren, Caren, if god wanted you to have a tatoo you would have been born with it " well thats true, but the smart ass I am I shot back " Yes I know, but if god wanted me to have scars all over my body dont you think I woul dhave been born with them too " he just chuckled and said " well in that case it really does look good " hehehehe caren PS mishy I wont hold your hand in vegas dont want to crack your bones into peices and have you scream in pain (even more than Ill be screaming) hehe just kidding! I remember promising myself during my night in Emergency (the night after my first CT scan) that if I got out of this alive, I'd get a tattoo. Well, it's been a few months since and ... you can guess the rest of the story. I want to get a butterfly on the back of my right shoulder. The reason is long, but if you've seen Patch , you can guess why. IF I go to LV, and IF I don't do it before then, I will get it done there. That's a promise. We're going to have our own NF Tat2 Crew in LV. I have a tat of a zipper on my back. Actually that's just a surgery scar. I haven't decided what to get in Vegas. It's going to be a party, who else is getting one besides me, Donnahut (and hut??), and Caren? I think we can prolly talk Mish into another. Or maybe she will at least get something pierced. Same as for Pete. Pete how about ~~web guy~~ or something like that on your.... well wherever you like. It took me two YEARS to decide on the first one(a fairy ) the second took me 25 minutes to pick out. If I were to get a tattoo I would also get one on my ankle. It would either be a tattoo of a shark (like a thresher for it's beauty) or a scubadiver full length from the side or maybe even both. Boy I am getting carried away now! This has been a contemplation since I was about 19 or 20 in college. However, when they gave me my tattoos for radiation the 7 little dots they put on me were so painful that I cannot imagine sitting thru a whole tattoo! Most people tell me that they were extremely incoherrent (drunk) when they got theirs. Well just thought I'd tell you that I like your tattoo.
