Guest guest Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 But if you purchase the AVG, about $35.00 for two full years, you get all the updages, and all the program tools. Strange tech sup port by e-mail, though! Akiba, yours is not set to inform the recipient that there have been no viruses, etc. found; you can change that. Guest guest Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 She must live in the boonies we have Best Buy's all over in my area. If AOL is the only trouble she might delete the program from her computer and then re install it. If she has a bug the best thing for a computer is to have a full recovery done on it. She will want to back up useful data because a recovery will wipe everything out and it will be like a new computer again. Guest guest Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 I had a problem with my web browser being hijacked. I also had Norton and Spybot. Neither would work. I went to stopsign.com and purchased their program. I got great telephone support tech. When we ran their programs it found some other stuff as well as my initial problem and fixed me right up. I can’t remember the charge, but it was better than taking the computer in for service. All is well now.
