Guest guest Posted January 3, 2006 Report Share Posted January 3, 2006 Must be the "in" thing to do...black ice under snow got me, and though I usually fall in a protective way and don't hurt anything, this time as I landed with my leg and ankle going in different ways I knew I was in trouble. By the time I dragged myself to the stairs, up them and in the house, going to the ER, dragging myself up to the bedroom; then down again to the car and in to the orthopod, I wasn't able to walk at all and had to stay in for rehab ;p . I was out for Christmas, though, with lots of home health support. You should see me in my ortho boot and red snow boot..NOW I have the fit on snow spikes..check REI online for them.
