Guest guest Posted October 15, 2004 Report Share Posted October 15, 2004 Does anyone have any information about how to use ABN?? We have a medicare patient that we treated due to MVA. We have seen him for 12 sessions and usually medicare denies payment after that length of time so that is why he decided to use his auto insurance to cover for treatments after the 12th tx. Does he have to sign an ABN??? Does it have to be every tx or one time will be sufficient?? Do we bill medicare and what modifier do we use ??? I hope you can help me clarify this .
