Guest guest
Thanks for the update. I had hopes you would be "feeling" something by now. I'm not sure if I'm remembering this correctly or not but didn't you say you would have 8 weeks of either placebo or LDN and then another 8 weeks of the other? Do you have to check in with the UCSF Neurology Dept.?Sharon Re: LDN 98-99% effective in treating MS!! As an update, I've completed week one in the LDN/MS clinical trial through UCSF Neurology Dept. At this point, I'm thinking that I'm on the placebo as I can't discern any effect good or bad. At the end of the trial I'll find out whether which group I was in. I certainly hope LDN will have good quality of life benefits for those with MS. --Mr. Dana F. Utz utzdanacomcast (DOT) net https://home. comcast.net/ ~utzdana/ Looking for earth-friendly autos? Guest guest
Yes, it's 8 weeks of one pill. Then, one week of rest. Next, 8 weeks of a second pill. Neither the participant nor the person administering the pills knows whether the first pill is the placebo or LDN. At this point, I'm guessing that I'm on the placebo. Each participant in the study has three meetings with UCSF Neurology: at start, at mid-point and at the end. At some point after conclusion of the study, participants will be told the results and at what point they were taking LDN. --Mr. Dana F.
