Guest guest
Dear Listserve. I have been asked by my employer to formulate wage bands/tiers/clinical ladders for salary compensation. The home care agency for whom I work currently pays a fixed per visit rate regardless of one's clinical experience and extent of education, and is contemplating changes in pay structure. Thus, I am somewhat at a loss as how to devise a pay structure that is " commensurate, " i.e what variables and worths (points?) are factored into an employees pay grade; i.e. 1) education, 2) degrees obtained, 3) certifications possessed, 4) years of clinical experience, 5) years of home care experience, 6) etc. Any thoughts or guidance would greatly be appreciated. If preferred, email can be sent to me directly. Thank you in advance for any help.
